FIELD: medicine, diagnostics.
SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with measuring the length of shin's circumference at the level of talocrural joint followed by recalculating the values obtained for arch degrees. Moreover, one should, additionally, measure the distance between the middles of external and internal ankles along anterior surface of shin, the distance between the point at anterior surface of talocrural joint developed due to crossing of projection of shin's mechanical axis and the projection of the line of talocrural articular fissure, and the middles of external and internal ankles; one should detect the position of internal tibial ankle by the angle of its shift against talocrural center via the difference of one fourth of the length of shin circumference at talocrural level at the distance between the point at anterior talocrural surface developed due to crossing the projection of shin's mechanical axis and the projection of the line of talocrural articular fissure and the middle of internal ankle. At shifting internal tibial ankle it is possible to detect the position of external fibular ankle by the angle of its shift against the center of talocrural joint via the difference of distances between the point at anterior talocrural surface developed due to crossing the projection of shin's mechanical axis and the projection of the line of talocrural articular fissure and the middle of external ankle at one fourth of shin's circumference length at the level of talocrural joint.
EFFECT: higher accuracy and efficiency of detection.
