FIELD: medicine, ophthalmology.
SUBSTANCE: it is necessary to detect the parameters of nystagmus - the frequency and the amplitude. Then it is necessary to fulfill periodic light impact at frequency being nearer against the frequency of nystagmus to carry out the control for parameters of nystagmus, moreover, one should alter both the frequency and amplitude of light impact till the decrease of nystagmus parameters followed by the alteration of the frequency of light impact till its maximal suppression and to be fixed during, moreover, the time for light impact should be fixed. Then, against, it is necessary to determine the parameters of nystagmus and at decreased amplitude of nystagmus being 10% against initial value at no impact. Moreover, it is useful to establish curative effect. In case of no curative effect it is necessary to prolong the terms of impact before the appearance of this effect, fix the time for curative effect per a seance and at established parameters one should repeat impact seances till obtaining a 2-fold daily decrease of initial value of nystagmus' amplitude. The innovation enables to treat nystagmus due to applying noninvasive technique.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of therapy.
