FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine and may be used in ophthalmology to treat eye nystagmus, during eye movement in vertical, horizontal or mixed directions. Parametres of nystagmus are determined - frequency and amplitude in case of periodical light action with frequency close to frequency of nystagmus, by sources of light action fixed along axis, parallel to axis of eyes location. Sources are fixed so that they could rotate in frontal plane parallel to axis of eyes rotation. In process of action from light sources, they are rotated in frontal plane, continuous data video sequence is filmed and processed with the help of computer systems, change of eye nystagmus amplitude is determined, angle of light action sources rotation is fixed relative to axis of eye location at minimum value of nystagmus amplitude, and treatment session is carried out.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to increase efficiency of suppression of various types of eye nystagmus.
