SUBSTANCE: pre- and post-therapeutic microperimetry is carried out. Nystagmus amplitude and the fixation density in the centre of the macule are determined. At a decrease of the nystagmus amplitude by 10% and more, an increase of the fixation density in the centre of the macule by 10% and more, the treatment is considered to be effective.
EFFECT: method enables providing the more reliable clinical effectiveness that is ensured by determining and assessing the fixation density in the centre of the macule.
