FIELD: preparation of emulsions used as alternative fuels for internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: water for preparation of emulsion and circulation of primary emulsion is fed to emulsion preparation chamber by means of pulse-type pumps driven by gas taken off engine valve. Required content of water in emulsion and variable-speed condition of plant are ensured by proper ratio of output of diesel engine fuel feed pump and pulse-type water pump; to obtain particular modes of operation, delivery of diesel fuel and water is reduced by proportional bypass of primary emulsion to inlets of diesel engine fuel feed pump and pulse-type water pump by means of automatic bypass valve.
EFFECT: possibility of maintaining water content in emulsion at constant level.
