FIELD: veterinary science, laboratory investigations.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for differentiating allergic responses for BCG-tuberculin in mammals infected with microorganisms of genus Corynebacterium and can be used for differential diagnosis of tuberculosis in cattle. Method involves treatment of pathological material taken from animal with positive response for BCG-tuberculin with 0.5% solution of preparation "Leseptic" for 30-45 min and inoculated on the solid egg-containing medium. Then inoculates are cultured under optimal temperature for 3 days followed by staining by Zil-Nilsen procedure and analysis of morphological features used for identification and differentiation of corynebacteria. Method is simple in realization and effective in investigations for clarification of reasons of sensitization of animals to tuberculin.
EFFECT: improved method of differentiation.
