FIELD: pipeline transport.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises removing the exhaust insulation, applying the 120-μm priming coat, and hating the pipe up to 50°C in two stages. In the first stage, the pipe is heated up to 20°C by means of open flame, and, in the second stage, it is heated up to 50°C by means of induction heating. The heat-shrinking insulation belt is wound on the priming coat, with preliminary heating of the adhesive layer of the belt up to 60°C by hot air. The insulating coating is then heated up to 100°C for heat shrinking of the polymeric base.
EFFECT: improved corrosion protection.
