FIELD: converter engineering; control systems for induction heating units.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method for controlling self-excited current inverter includes generation of control pulses and their alternate supply to valves shaping forward and backward voltage half-waves across load. In the process instant voltage across load is measured, reference voltage is shaped, and next control pulse is shaped and supplied to valves ahead of moment when instant voltage across load crosses zero as soon as instant voltage across load becomes equal to reference voltage. The latter is shaped from instant voltage across load by varying phase of signal proportional to instant voltage across load and by normalizing mentioned signal by multiplying it by numeric factor.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability of current inverter operating into load in the form of oscillatory circuit.
