METHOD FOR EVALUATING FUNCTIONAL STATE OF HUMAN CENTRAL NERVOUS SYSTEM (FSCNS) Russian patent published in 2006 - IPC A61B5/00 A61B5/16

Abstract RU 2289297 C2

FIELD: medicine, medicinal diagnostics.

SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with matching the functions tested followed by measuring and formalization of physiological values. While conducting the control one should detect the level of functional state (LFS) in every tested function of human body, and then one should calculate dimensionless value (DV) of function deviation against the standard. As the standard one should apply individual mean LFS values of every tested human function in healthy state detected during chosen period of time up to the control terms. Then one should determine the value of stability of systemic organization of tested functions (FSCNS) as the sum of squares of relative dimensionless values of functions referred to them to be compared with individual threshold of permission (ITP) for work in a person under control which should be determined during chosen period of time till personal control in its healthy state as the degree of deviation of this FSCNS value against its mean value expressed in "paces" of root-mean-square σFSCNS at coefficient taking into account the complexity of the works performed. In medicine the deviation that doesn't exceed two sigmas is considered to be a normal phenomenon. For operators at nuclear power stations (NPS) this coefficient should be taken to be equal to 1.5. The innovation provides the chance to carry out accurate individual evaluation of functional state of human central nervous system, reflects inter-relation of functions of various modality, enables to create automatized systems for psychophysiological pre-shift control in operators of specialized services, hazardous types of manufacturing, NPS among them.

EFFECT: higher accuracy and efficiency of evaluation.
