FIELD: medicine, pathological anatomy.

SUBSTANCE: one should detect a transverse elastic stretchability of rings of 1 cm width cut out of ascending aortic department, measure ring's initial length and then it should be stretched as far as it will go with weight ranged 700-1000 g, and at decreased stretchability by 140% and lower against initial length one should detect the cause of death as being the result of acute heart failure in case of hypertonic disease. The innovation enables to provide significant diagnostics for detecting the cause of death as a result of acute heart failure.

EFFECT: higher efficiency and accuracy of detection.
