FIELD: animal anatomy, comparative anatomy, experimental medicine.
SUBSTANCE: one should carry out thoracotomy, moreover, on dissecting soft tissues it is necessary to start with crossing clavicles and the first ribs, then one should cross ribs and intercostals muscles along median auxiliary lines up to the site of diaphragm's fixation towards thoracic walls. Then one should take anterior thoracic wall to the front by tightening, thus, a sterno-pericardial ligament which should be dissected from the upper thoracic aperture under visual control. After that, lateral incisions should be transformed into transverse ones by continuing them above the line of diaphragm's fixation towards each other. The innovation enables to prevent possible shift of organs against their physiological position due to removing anterior thoracic wall as a single screen against the heart and adjacent organs and minimize the risk of damage in adjacent organs occurred at thoracotomy and, also, increase accuracy of morphological researches dealing with syntropy of heart and adjacent organs.
EFFECT: higher efficiency.
