FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to anatomy and pathological anatomy. Longitudinal incision is made from a lower edge of a thyroid cartilage to a pubic region with dissection of skin, adipose tissue and adjacent muscles. Sternum is removed by cutting it from the distal part of the costal arch towards the sternoclavicular joint. Ligaments, sternohyoid and sternothyroid sublingual muscles are excised. Fascia is lifted, the fascia is cross-sectioned to the common carotid artery, the internal jugular vein and the vagus nerve. Internal jugular vein is dissected from the level of the lower horns of the thyroid cartilage. Then connective tissue is dissected to an angle of upper chest aperture. Vascular bundle is dissected by resting on the posterior surface of the clavicle. Fatty tissue of anterior mediastinum is removed until brachiocephalic vein appears, which is dissected from level of origin of common carotid artery. Thereafter, a terminal thoracic duct is separated.

EFFECT: method enables isolating the terminal portion of the thoracic lymphatic duct during evisceration, reducing the deformation of the corpse’s appearance and preserving the anatomical integrity of the adjacent organs.
