FIELD: agricultural engineering, in particular, equipment for post-harvest sorting and cleaning of cereals, leguminous crops, sorghum, corn and other crops.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus has charging mechanism, pneumatic sorting channel, cross-flow fan, and discharge mechanism. Charging mechanism is made in the form of corrugation having suction nozzle and connected to pneumatic sorting channel through joint. Pneumatic sorting channel consists of sequentially coupled sections of variable cross-sectional area, with cross-sectional area of previous section being smaller than that of subsequent section. Each of said sections is equipped with seed feeding rate adjusting gate positioned so that its inclination angle may be adjusted within a range of from 0 deg to 90 deg relative to section bottom. Bottom of each section is made concave and serves as settling chamber. Each section is furnished with rubberized rollers positioned under it. First section of pneumatic sorting channel is furnished with steering system and electromechanical drive. Cross-flow fan is located within terminating section of said channel. Discharge mechanism is established in each settling chamber and is made in the form of discharge gate.
EFFECT: improved quality of seed cleaning.
