SUBSTANCE: invention describes a method for preparing melamine crystals. Method involves carrying out the crystallization stage of a pure melted melamine by its cooling with liquid ammonia and the condensation stage by isolation of part of liquid ammonia from melamine crystals suspension in process for crystallization stage followed by repeated using liquid ammonia isolated from the suspension as a coolant liquid at the crystallization stage. Also, the claim describes a device for preparing melamine crystals of high purity that comprises the crystallization section (6) and condenser (7) for suspension prepared in the crystallization section.
