FIELD: chemical industry; methods of production of melamine.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the field of chemical industry, in particular, to the improved method of production of melamine by pyrolysis of carbamide in the reactor under the high pressure with a vertical central tube. The torrent of melamine in the reactor is passing bottom-up. At that in the lower part of the reactor it is mixed with the melt of carbamide andNH3 fed in the reactor bottom-up. The melamine flows out from the upper end of the central tube. At that a part of the formed melanine flows downward in annular space between the central tube and the wall of the reactor, and the remaining part of melamine is gated outside for the subsequent treatment. The waste gases are gated out from the upper part of the reactor. The invention also presents the reactor realization of the method. The method allows to gain the optimum product output at the minimum output of the by-products.
EFFECT: the invention ensures the optimum product output at the minimum output of the by-products.
