FIELD: construction, particularly to consolidate loose ground for large depth.
SUBSTANCE: method involves perforating orifices in seasonally frozen ground layer in predetermined design location in winter period, wherein the orifices have diameters equal or exceeding rammer diameter; ramming well-like hole in the design location; filling the hole with drain ground in several layers and ramming each drain ground layer to displace above ground under seasonally frozen ground to be compacted. The orifices are made by applying impacts to loose seasonally frozen ground in the design location by rammer after achievement of design ground thickness enough for loading of thawed ground located under seasonally frozen ground.
EFFECT: simplified operation along with increased ground compaction uniformity, increased volume of ground to be used for frozen ground compaction and improved ground density increase.
