FIELD: construction of mechanical drives; mechanical engineering; transmission of torque between shafts.
SUBSTANCE: proposed friction clutch includes bearing member mounted on drive shaft and drive member with friction disk secured on drive shaft. Driven clutch member is mounted on driven shaft together with friction disk. One end of flexible hose is secured on drive shaft and other end is secured on drive clutch member. Friction clutch is provided with steel cylindrical sleeve secured on bearing member embracing the flexible hose over its entire side surface.
EFFECT: extended range of application; enhanced reliability and durability; reduction of engagement time.
