FIELD: laminated ballistic structures.
SUBSTANCE: the laminated ballistic structure has a number of layers, n layers of alternating unidirectionally oriented ballistic fibers and m thermoplastic layers, except for the outer thermoplastic layers on the sides of the structure, where 1/2n≤m<n, and the unidirectionally oriented layers contain 1-25 mass percent of elastomeric material for the dry mass of fibers. The unidirectionally oriented layers may contain fibers of aramide, PBO (poly-n-phenylenebenze-bis-oxazole), PBI (poly-n-phenylenebenze-bis-imidazole) and/or high-density polyethelene, and polyethylene or polypropylene may be used as thermoplastic material.
EFFECT: produced a laminated ballistic structure with a high resistance to a ballistic impact and with a high stability.
