FIELD: construction engineering; heating hydraulically isolated layers of roll and mastic roofing, concrete mix, etc.

SUBSTANCE: proposed thermoelectric mat has heating element in the form of flat flexible electric heater of nonmetal material with electrodes on edges and heat-accumulating layer accommodated in heat-resistant shell; it also has movement joint and heat-insulating component made in the form of heat-insulating material layer placed in heat-resistant shell and provided with end expansion devices made of flexible material and coupled with stiffness promoters mounted on heating element in vicinity of electrodes. Heating element is provided with at least three transversal expansion devices made in the form of heat-resistant strips disposed in parallel with stiffness promoters and coupled with flat electric heater and heat-resistant shell; two transversal expansion devices are disposed at edges of heating element. Heat-resistant shells of heating element and heat-insulating component are impregnated with silicone compound.

EFFECT: enhanced service life of thermoelectric mat.
