FIELD: deicing systems and methods.
SUBSTANCE: proposed system has power supply capable of definite-value power generation. Power generated is sufficient for melting ice crust at interface, boundary layer thickness being usually from one micron to one millimeter. Controller can be used for limiting time of definite power generation by power supply to limit unwanted power dissipation into environment. Varying heating energy pulse arriving at interface changes object-to-ice friction.
EFFECT: facilitated deicing procedure.
