FIELD: medicine, surgery.
SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with surgical treatment of pancreatic cancer. One should detect the content of enterokinase in intestinal juice, jejunal absorbing capacity and the link between the content of pancreatic enzymes in digesta of jejunal proximal department and intensity of pancreatic secretion. At enterokinase content being 26.7±1.2 U, normal absorbing jejunal capacity, availability of the feedback between the content of enzymes in digesta and the intensity of pancreatic secretion one should apply a pancreatojejunoanastomosis. At enterokinase content in intestinal juice being 241.2±5.7 U, affected absorbing jejunal function, the absence of the feedback between the content of pancreatic enzymes in digesta of proximal jejunal department and the intensity of pancreatic secretion one should apply a pancreatogastroanastomosis. The innovation enables to match the technique for applying an anastomosis in case of pancreatoduodenal resection and, thus, decrease the risk for its failure.
EFFECT: higher efficiency.
