FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves transecting round ligament of liver close to umbilical ring. The round ligament of liver is cut off from the anterior abdominal wall to the beginning of the falciform ligament of liver. The pancreatic duct lumen is drained with silicon tube. Bulbous-end probe is pulled leaving 4 cm long space between the bulbous-end probe end and the beginning of umbilical vein sulcus on the inferior liver surface. Lateral wall of the umbilical vein is notched near the bulbous-end probe end. The bulbous-end probe is removed. The proximal end of the umbilical vein is transected and ligated. The pancreas is drained through the umbilical vein lumen. The wall is end-to-end sutured to the pancreatic duct near the distal end in the umbilical vein. The pancreatic duct is drained through a separate opening. Intestine wall is sutured near its opening to the umbilical vein wall near its opening.
EFFECT: reliable anastomosis; prevented suture eruption during active peristalsis in early postoperative period.
