SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an agent used in treatment of HIV-infection and containing a fusion inhibitor comprising the following amino acid sequence: X-SWETWEREIENYTKQIYKILEESQEQQDRNEKDLLE-Z (SEQ ID NO:1) wherein X represents amino-group or -X-X2 wherein X1 means imino-group, and X2 is chosen from the group consisting of acetyl group, hydrophobic group and macromolecular carrying group; Z represents carboxyl group or -Z-Z2 wherein Z1 means carbonyl group, and Z2 is chosen from the group consisting of amino-group, tert.-butyloxycarbonyl group, hydrophobic group and macromolecular carrying group. Indicated inhibitor possesses the strong inhibitory activity with respect to HIV-infection.
