FIELD: medicine, namely, methods of laser irradiation of skin during photo-dynamic therapy, for example, during photo-dynamic dermabrasion or photo-dynamic epilation of unwanted hair in orbital and paraorbital areas, and also on other body parts.

SUBSTANCE: method for laser irradiation of skin surface includes applying onto surface of pathologic section of skin cover of photo-sensitizer with its following exposure without light access, and then, processing of surface of pathologic portion of skin with laser irradiation, while portion of skin with applied photo-sensitizer is processed through aperture of mask, which is made square, serially moving the mask and positioning its aperture closely to edges across whole skin portion being processed, mask being manufactured of material not letting through laser radiation of given wave length, mask aperture area being selected from condition of letting through 80-90% of laser radiation power when using exponential distribution of laser energy in cross-section of laser beam, or from condition for using homogeneous distribution of laser energy in cross-section of its beam, and in one session of photo-dynamic therapy laser radiation is induced onto no more than 100 cm² of area of surface of pathologic area of skin.

EFFECT: possible homogeneous and dosed laser irradiation of skin portion being processed, while its dimensions significantly exceeds those of laser irradiation spot, short epithelization time and decreased infection risk.
