FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: adaptive fluid-operates bearing comprises hollow housing composed of side (1) and rod (2), which are interconnected through elastomeric members (3), and base (4). The housing receives flexible diaphragm (5) that, together with elastomeric member, defines a closed hollow chamber filled with fluid. Diaphragm (5) and base (4) define space A of variable volume filled with compressed gas. The hollow chamber receives baffle (6) that separates the hollow chamber into two chambers B and C of variable volume. Baffle (6) has throttling openings (11) for flowing fluid with valving device (14) for control of the total cross-section of the opening. Baffle (6) receives rod (2) whose end is provided with thrust (16). Base (4) is provided with valve (18). Baffle (6) has additional throttling opening (11) and is provided with rubber damper (10). The top and bottom surfaces of damper (10) have grooves with semicircular cross-section (13). Rod (2) has flange (7) provided with elastomeric member (3). Rod (2) is mounted in baffle (6) for permitting movement in central deflecting opening (12). Flange (7) and thrust (16) have openings (17) of small diameter.
