FIELD: food industry, agriculture and other industries.
SUBSTANCE: according to first design version, vacuum drier contains internal combustion engine, vacuum chamber, system to supply heat from internal combustion engine to heat carrier, evacuating system includes intake branch pipe of internal combustion engine connected with vacuum chamber, and throttling device. System to supply heat from internal combustion engine to heat carrier contains one or several heat exchanges installed in vacuum chamber and/or before entry of heat carrier into chamber. Heat exchangers use heat of exhaust gases and/or cooling system and/or lubrication system of internal combustion engine, and intake branch pipe of internal combustion engine is connected with atmosphere through vacuum chamber, one or several heat exchangers and throttling device made, for instance, in form of gate, diaphragm or shutter. According to second design version, vacuum drier is furnished with second vacuum chamber, and third design version is simplified version of first drier.
EFFECT: reduced power consumption of drier.
