FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method of photodynamic therapy of oncological diseases is based upon injection photo-sensitizer to patient and subsequent radiation of pathological area till specified light dosage by means of device which has radiator, regular rectangular prism made of glass or polymer and gadget for fixing radiator onto pathological area. Radiation wavelength of radiator equals to 500-850 nm. Radiation is performed at power density of 30mW/cm2 or 79mW/cm2 within light spot of 2x2 cm2. Growth of tumor can be suppressed at significant reduction in power density of optical radiation which results in reduction of overload of patient and elimination of pain symptoms.
EFFECT: improved efficiency.
