SUBSTANCE: invention relates to equipment for mixing and/or homogenizing of loose, liquid and gaseous components. Proposed screw mixer contains housing and screw fitted inside housing. Screw is made for rotation creating counter-pressure on received components and it consists of shaft and main perforated blade secured on shaft. Screw is provided with additional blade (solid or perforated one) secured on shaft from side of delivery of components to be mixed, or from other side with arrangement opposite to arrangement of main perforated blade. Additional blade serves to compensate for axial counter-pressure created by main blade on components delivered for mixing and for closing all axial forces on screw shaft.

EFFECT: simplified design, intensified mixing process, improved quality of mixture.
