FIELD: powder metallurgy; production of composite materials on base of triplex steel non-homogeneous in concentration.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method may be used for manufacture of structural and wear-resistant parts in mechanical engineering, construction engineering, extractive industry, instrumentation engineering and other industries. Proposed method includes preparation of iron-based burden containing nickel and molybdenum. Hardening phase is placed in mold in areas of expected friction interaction of parts, after which molding of parts and sintering are carried out at infiltration with impregnating copper-based briquette containing 10-30% of iron. Sintering is performed at non-homogeneous distribution of nickel and molybdenum at concentration variation coefficient of each element from 0.01 to 0.6 and concentration of nickel from 2 to 6% and molybdenum of from 0.5 to 1%.
EFFECT: enhanced strength, impact viscosity and wear resistance.
