FIELD: powder metallurgy, namely production of infiltrated composition material steel-hard alloy, possibly used for making constructional and wear resistant parts.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of preparing charge for producing steel substrate including light or consumed at sintering additives providing lowered density of substrate and charge of hard alloy for producing wear resistant layer. In cavity of die charge for wear resistant layer and then charge for steel substrate are introduced for their common pressing. Then sintering and simultaneous infiltration of wear resistant layer and substrate.
EFFECT: improved strength of joining substrate and wear resistant layer, enhanced corrosion resistance, increased wear resistance of product.
