FIELD: building materials industry; methods of production of the bulk lightweight building materials.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the field of production of the bulk lightweight building materials. The technical result of the invention is the increased productivity of the process, the reduced power input, improvement of the consumer characteristics and qualities of the finished product. The method of production of the foam-silicate gravel includes the drying, crushing of the cullet and the porophore in the attritors, feeding of the milled charge in the collecting bin, the weight batching of the cullet and the porophore before their mixing. The amount of the carbonate porophore in the mixture with the carbonic porophore is taken from 5 up to 95 (in mass %). Mixing of the powders of the cullet, quartz and porophore is exercised in the drum mixer, and the mixing of the produced powder and the water solution of the soluble glass is conducted in the high speed mixer. The granules are produced by pelletizing in the drum granulator. Then the granules are dried, made foam in the rotating furnace together with the parting medium and annealed. The temperature in the first half of the furnace along the granules motion it is maintained within the interval of 720-900°С, and in the second half of the furnace - of 580-300°С. As the parting medium use the mixture of the chalk or cement with the fluvial quartz sand. At that the indicated components are taken in the mixture with the quartz sand in amount of less than 20 mass % from the amount of the quartz sand.
EFFECT: the invention ensures the increase of the productivity of the process, reduction of the power input, the improved consumer characteristics and qualities of the finished product.
