FIELD: manufacture of building materials, particularly, granulated cellular glass used as efficient heat-insulating material in various building structures for warmth-keeping, for instance, walls, floors, roofs of industrial and civil buildings. SUBSTANCE: method of producing granulated cellular glass on continuous production line includes crushing of broken glass, its washing and drying in washing-drying drum at temperature of 110-120 C; weighing and combined grinding of broken glass and blowing agent in the form of mixture of chalk with dolomite (4% of glass weight) up to attaining specific surface of 3000-5000 sq.cm/g: granulation of mixture on plate granulator with aqueous solution of water glass; drying of granules on netted belt dryer in layer up to 100 mm thick and temperature of 400 C to moisture content of 2%; sifting of fines on vibrosieve; foaming of granules in rotating furnace with river quartz sand as separating medium at temperature of 780-820 C; annealing of granules in rotating furnace to temperature of 30 C, and separation of granules from separating medium. EFFECT: utilization of broken glass with production of highly efficient heat-insulating material, simplified method of cellular glass production, reduced power consumption. 1 dwg
