FIELD: oil and gas extractive industry, possible use for pressure testing operation column of well.

SUBSTANCE: in accordance to method, internal space of well is divided on 3 hollows: 1 - hollow from well mouth to intermediary depth, 2 - hollow of well from intermediary depth down to ceiling of productive bed and 3 - hollow below the ceiling of productive bed. These three hollows are separated from one another. Pressure is measured in hollow 2. Liquid is transferred from hollow 2 to hollow 1. Liquid transfer is stopped. Pressure change in hollow 2 is determined. If pressure remains unchanged in hollow 2 during control time, operation column is considered whole in interval of hollow 2. If pressure changes are detected, irregularities are considered present in operation column. On basis of pressure alteration time in hollow 2, influx of liquid into well is estimated quantitatively. To determine precise spot of operation column integrity violation and liquid influx, operations are repeated at new lower locations of intermediate depth to achieve integrity of operation column.

EFFECT: expanded capabilities of pressure testing of any well and for precise determining of location where column integrity is violated to detect influx of liquid through column irregularities into well.
