FIELD: mining industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for crimping operational casing strings with leak detection by measuring temperature and pressure. The method includes the assembly of downhole equipment with a mechanical packer, the descent of equipment into the operational casing of the well. After the descent is completed, the packer is moved to the working position, dividing the inner space of the well into two cavities, then a deep autonomous thermomanometer is lowered into the tubing string and pressure fluid is injected into the borehole annulus. The borehole annulus is sealed, after which gas is pumped into it from the compressor unit to create excess pressure in the well, at which the gas-liquid mixture is removed from the pipe space to the surface, the gas supply is stopped, and the borehole annulus is re-sealed. The downhole equipment is extracted, data is read from autonomous deep thermomanometers, and the data obtained is interpreted; the conclusion is made about the presence or absence of a hydrodynamic connection between the first and second cavities of the operational casing.

EFFECT: assessment of the feasibility of carrying out repair and insulation works as part of geological and technical programs.
