FIELD: electrical engineering; aluminum alloy based shielding coatings for one of anode sides.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes formation of supersonic flow of heated working gas such as air and deposition (evaporation) of powdered metal coating on anode surface that provides for desired adhesion strength and reduced porosity. Metal is deposited at flow velocity of 600-645 m/s and its temperature of 50-99 °C and at evaporated metal flowrate of 0.03-0.05 g/cm3. Metal used for the purpose is powdered silver or powdered copper and silver deposited onto anode sequentially.
EFFECT: enhanced discharge characteristics, reduced ohmic loss.
