FIELD: manufacturing processes in machine engineering, working materials by cutting.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of imparting rotation and feed motion to needle milling cutter having body with seats provided with turning on inner surfaces and lid. In each seat bushing with pile bundle is freely mounted. Said bushing has on outer surface shoulder whose width is less than that of turning. In order to enlarge manufacturing possibilities due to controlling depth of cut-off layer and micro-relief of milled surface, bushing with pile bundles is subjected in addition to radial pulse feed by means of cam engaged with bottom of bushing and arranged in groove of stationary support - tube. Said supporting tube is arranged coaxially relative to spindle to which milling cutter body is rigidly secured. Body of milling cutter is in the form of disc having radial seats with rectangular cross section with rounded angles. Shape of bushing is reciprocal to that of seat. On peripheral surface of body ring with holes for pile bundles is mounted.
EFFECT: enlarged manufacturing possibilities of method.
