FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to high-strength corrosion-resistant steel possessing high strength of the basic metal and welding joints, high fatigue strength of the basic metal and welding joints not requiring thermal treatment after welding and showing high resistance against corrosion under stress of welding joints in state of thermal treatment and welding. Proposed steel is designated for making power welded articles in aircraft construction working at temperatures from -70°C to 300°C. Invention proposes steel and article made of its. Proposed steel comprises the following components, wt.-%: carbon, 0.08-0.12; chrome, 12.5-14.0; nickel, 4.0-5.0; molybdenum, 2.3-2.8; manganese, 0.3-0.7; nitrogen, 0.05-0.10; silicon, 1.7-2.5; niobium, 0.2-0.4; cobalt, 4.0-5.0; lanthanum, 0.001-0.05; yttrium, 0.001-0.05, and iron, the balance. Using the proposed steel provides preparing high-quality welded joints after thermal treatment and welding with high strength and toughness exploited at temperatures from -70°C to 300°C under any climate conditions that allows increasing resource and enhancing safety of articles.
EFFECT: improved and valuable properties of steel and articles.
