FIELD: measuring technique.

SUBSTANCE: device for measurement of refractivity has measuring prism. There is slit diaphragm onto side face of prism. Light-emitting diode is glued behind slot diaphragm. Multiple-element receiver is glued to another side face of prism. Third face of prism has to be plane of separation through which plane the optical contact is made with tested matter. Output of multiple-array receiver is connected to threshold unit. Output of threshold unit is connected with control input of switch. Signal input of switch is connected with output of pulse generator. Outputs of switch and pulse generator are connected to counting inputs of two counters correspondingly. Zero adjustment inputs of counter and their outputs are connected with corresponding inputs of microprocessors. Output of microprocessor is connected with display.

EFFECT: improved precision of measurement; higher manufacturability of structure; reduced cost.
