FIELD: tool engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention describes a method for quality control of products by comparing optical characteristics of the test product with the corresponding optical characteristics of reference products and a device that realises the proposed method. The optical characteristics of the product use refractive indicators in several spectral ranges and chromaticity coordinates. The claimed invention is intended to control the quality of products by comparing the optical characteristics of the test product with the corresponding optical characteristics of the reference products, either entered in the pre-formed database, or obtained for the reference sample immediately before the measurements of the sample under investigations. Simultaneously with measurement of refractive indicator, the coordinates of chromaticity of the investigated product are measured, and the found values are compared with refraction indicators and coordinates of chromaticity standards. The refractive indicators of the product and the chromaticity coordinates are determined from the same output signals of the multifunction matrix photodetector unit (MMPPU). The unit for determining the quality of products is a device containing a block of light sources, in which LEDs with different emission wavelengths R (red), G (green), B (blue) are installed. Behind the LEDs there is a light diffuser designed to align the LED patterns and mix their radiation into a single integrated multispectral light flux. The diaphragm forming the divergent light flux is located in the front of the measuring prism, which working face serves as a plane for separation of the product and prism. When the product is placed in a cuvette, the optical system forms sharp boundaries of shadow and light on the photosensitive surface of the MMPPU for each spectral range. Then the obtained RGB electric signals are supplied to a computing device, in which the refractive indicators and chromaticity coordinates of the product under investigation are formed. The obtained values are compared with the values of the sample chosen as a reference, and the value of deviations of obtained values determines the quality of the product under investigation.
EFFECT: increased accuracy, acceleration and automation of the measurement process and simplified design.
