FIELD: membrane processes for gas separation and/or carrying out of chemical reactions.

SUBSTANCE: reactor consists of casing, ceramic membrane and connection member located therebetween and made from alloy containing group VIII and group VI elements of Mendelyeev's periodic table. Aluminum oxide layer is formed on connection member surface adjoining membrane. Method for manufacturing of reactor involves fixing ceramic membrane in reactor casing by means of connection member, said connection member made from aluminum-bearing alloy being heated in oxygen-containing gas at temperature of from 800 C to 1,100 C before fixing of membrane, or aluminum oxide layer being deposited onto surface of connection member adjoining membrane. Method allows difference in linear expansion coefficients of connection member and ceramic layer to be reduced.

EFFECT: increased efficiency by preventing diffusion of used alloy into ceramic layer to thereby increase strength of connection between ceramic membrane and connection member, including strength exhibited at elevated temperatures.
