FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the reactor and temperature control method in the reactive oxygen-conducting membranes based multi-stage reactor. Method comprises stages, at which introducing the heated oxygen-containing feed stream into the reactor, passing the stream through the surfaces of plurality of elements from the oxygen-conducting membranes in the reactor first stage, where part of oxygen is removed from the stream with the first residual stream production, introducing the additional cooling air stream into the first residual stream in the reactor, mixing the additional cooling air stream with the first residual stream in the reactor with the mixed stream production, passing the mixed stream through the surfaces of second plurality of elements from the oxygen conducting membranes in the reactor second stage, where part of oxygen is removed from the mixed stream with the second residual stream production, discharged from the reactor the stream containing part or all of the second residual stream.
EFFECT: invention enables elements from the oxygen-conducting membranes and associated reactors surface temperature stable values effective maintenance, as well as the high thermal efficiency.
