FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing synthesis gas by partial oxidation of methane using an oxygen-conducting membrane in the presence of carbon dioxide, wherein constant monitoring of temperature of reaction zone is carried out and in case of temperature increase to ≥900 °C, methane is further fed into reaction zone in amount of 11.8-25.0 vol.% with respect to volume of methane initially fed and carbon dioxide in amount of 11.8-25.0 vol.% with respect to volume of methane initially fed, respectively, and then at reduction to temperature of not less than 25 °C, the mix supply is stopped.
EFFECT: safety of the process due to stabilization of temperature in the reaction zone of the partial oxidation reactor using constant temperature control, along with high selectivity with respect to carbon monoxide (II).
