FIELD: construction, particularly to erect new subsurface buildings and building structures and reconstruct existent ones.

SUBSTANCE: structural unit for diaphragm wall adapted for pit fencing is made as reinforced concrete panel provided with ribs extending along opposite longitudinal walls thereof. Slots are formed in outer edges of the ribs. Structural unit is made of at least two members, namely of lower and at least one upper ones. Lower member of structural unit has ribs with projections extending beyond reinforced concrete panel and symmetric about longitudinal member axis. Channels extending along the full member lengths are made in the members and adapted to receive reinforcement. The members are connected with each other by means of end glued seams and pre-stressed reinforcement passing through the channels to create single structural unit. In accordance to the second embodiment structural unit includes a number of prefabricated beam members which form ribs and are provided with embedded members. Reinforced concrete panel is concreted at building site and has transversal reinforcement fastened to embedded members. In still another embodiment structural unit has pre-stressed reinforcement stretched around tubular members before panel and rib concreting. The tubular members constitute a part of concreting form. Thus, structural unit is fully concreted. Diaphragm wall is composed of structural units formed in accordance to any above variants and filler, which forms cast-in-place parts. Panel is arranged from inner wall side facing the pit. The filler is located from outer wall side and is placed in gaps between unit ribs.

EFFECT: reduced weight of members to be shipped and installed along with improved structure fixation in ground and increased water-tightness thereof.
