FIELD: radiolocation, radio control, radio navigation and communications, possible use in UHF equipment of millimeter wave spectrum.
SUBSTANCE: in accordance to method, number of simultaneously generated independent beams emitted by antenna system is increased and phased antenna array is built in form, fitting for transmission and receipt of multi-frequency signals distanced in time, decreased cost and power consumption of phased antenna array are achieved by simplification of its structure and abandonment of usage of costly and low efficiency active element in it, also reliability and serviceability of phased antenna array are increased by substantially decreased number of connections of UHF circuits in it and constructive realization of antenna array block in form of group of small sub-arrays engaged with it. Multi-beam selecting antenna array consists of aperture emitters, phase shifters, signal power divider, controlling and monitoring device, selectors and polarization control device.
EFFECT: expanded functional capabilities of antenna system.
