SUBSTANCE: antenna of a polygon for measuring radar characteristics of targets in Fresnel zone is made as a phased antenna array (PAA), which comprises a system of couplers with an input and N outputs, N is an even number more than six, N first switches of signals and N signal transmission channels, which include N second and N third switches, N first, N second, N third and N fourth mixers, 2N circulators, 2N variable attenuators, 2N phase changers, 2N radiators. Each channel consists of two subchannels of elevation E and horizontal H polarization of radiation. Subchannel Ε includes: a second switch, first and second frequency mixers and series-connected first output of a circulator, a variable attenuator, a phase shifter and a radiator of elevation polarization, subchannel H includes: a third switch, third and fourth mixers of frequencies and series-connected first output of the other circulator, the other variable attenuator, the other phase shifter, a radiator of horizontal polarization.
EFFECT: technical result of the invention is increased efficiency of using the aperture of the receiving-transmitting antenna - PAA - up to 0,9 and reduced occupied by the antenna area of the anechoic chamber, since the lengthwise size of the PAA is defined by its thickness, which makes 3-5 operating wavelengths.
