FIELD: desinsection, in particular, extermination of mosquitoes under natural conditions.

SUBSTANCE: method involves treating area with mosquito killing preparations; before starting of mosquito killing process during spring-summer period characterized by formation of temporary water basins - places of mosquito population habitat and development, with beginning of said period being determined upon establishment of air temperature of from 3 C to 6 C, observing phases of development of mosquitoes-larvae of 2-3 development phase, of imago and one-day's insects and determining population thereof; performing direct killing of mosquito population by treating area with preparations effective for each development phase; performing single treatment procedure during 2-3 development phase in water basin on June, 10-15; performing triple treatment procedures during imago phase at a distance of 1.5-2 m from water basin on June 10-15, June 25-30, July 15-20; performing single treatment of one-day's insects by aerosol method up to May 25, followed by repeated treatments on June 15 and July 15. Preparation used as effective means for larvae of 2-3 development phase contains, wt%: PhOC - sulphidophos-10 and bactolarvicide-90, preparation for imago phase contains, wt%: PhOC - malation-50 and pyrethroid-50, and preparation for one-day's insects contains, wt%: - pyrethroid-70 and carbomate-30.

EFFECT: reduced ecological pesticide loading of environment due to decreased number of treatments of areas with insecticides.
