SUBSTANCE: method involves catching and registering insect population for at least three days of the season; determining daily differences in insect population and determining differences in insect population during the season on the basis of obtained data; determining active time of insects during the season on the basis of active time during days from formula: T(s)=K • T(d), where T(s) is insect active time during the season (expressed in days); T(d) is average insect active time during days (expressed in hours); K is daily and seasonal activity ratio coefficient equal to 7.48.
