FIELD: cutting processes in NC machine tools.

SUBSTANCE: method is realized in machine tool with spindle. Body of spindle is mounted with possibility of parallel motion in orthogonal directions along three axes X, Y, Z. Method comprises steps of mounting inspection unit on periphery of front end of spindle body at providing small extension of said unit; rotation feed of blank around predetermined axis; correction of rotation angle of blank according to its rotation angle at touching of blank phase control section and said monitoring unit. Apparatus includes inspection unit having panel members rectangular at side view and mounted in such a way that they protrude slightly ahead just under spindle. The last has first plane normal to spindle direction and second plane parallel to spindle direction and to preset axis. Apparatus also includes unit for feeding blank having intermediate table rectangular in plane view and mounted horizontally; working drive table mounted in one end of upper face of intermediate table; central pushing table mounted in other end of intermediate table. NC table is arranged on drive table. NC table includes main portion fastened in intermediate table; chuck unit arranged in main portion of table driven with possibility of rotation around preset axes in direction of X axis by means of NC table; drive center arranged on main portion of table in preset axis and having rotation center of end portion of blank clamped in chuck unit with possibility of rotation feed of blank around predetermined axis and correction of blank rotation angle according to rotation angle of NC table when blank phase control section touches inspection unit.

EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of determining blank phase.
