FIELD: abrasive working processes and equipment, possibly manufacture of abrasive tools for finishing operations.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of adding to abrasive powder of synthetic corundum powder of boron carbide in quantity consisting of 10 -20% of abrasive powder mass and with grain size consisting of 30 - 50% of grain size of abrasive powder; shaping abrasive powder while subjecting it to action of static and dynamic loading by means of shock wave for subsequent heat treatment of it.
EFFECT: enhanced quality of abrasive tool provided by uniform distribution of abrasive grains of predetermined size in the whole volume of article.
