FIELD: environment control; neutralization of acidic mine water.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method consists in use of sludge pulp of soda production plant as neutralizing carbonate-containing material containing no less than 80 mass-% of finely dispersed calcium carbonate prepared in mixer with the use of water of mine self-discharge; pulp is fed by proportioned drainage into reaction zone - acidic mine water self-discharge channel followed by delivery of purified drainage to settler. Procedure of preparing the pulp in mixer continues for 12-20 min. Amount of pulp is 1.2-1.8 kg per cubic meter of drainage mine water. Temperature of proportioned drainage of pulp in winter season is maintained at level of mine water drainage temperature. Plant proposed for realization of this method includes mixers mounted in succession and used for preparation of reagent; inlets of these mixers are connected to submersible waste water delivery pump by means of pipe lines and outlets are connected to proportioning pumps supplying reagent to acidic mine water channel; plant is also provided with settling pond and control unit.
EFFECT: low cost of neutralization process; facilitated procedure; simplified construction.
